Innovation Credit Union matches their Challenge!

Innovation Credit Union stepped forward not only as a donor, but as a community leader in the 'A Welcome Home' campaign for The Meadows. Innovation Credit Union challenged all financial institutions, insurance advisors and wealth managers at the end of February this year, to donate to The Meadows, providing a matching donation up to a maximum of $250,000. At the end of September, Innovation’s corporate challenge officially came to an end having seen a total of $165,000 donated by seven different institutions taking up the challenge. Thank you to all those who accepted the challenge and donated:

- CIBC - $10,000
- The Co-operators - $20,000
- Brad and Cindy Gross, BMO Nesbitt Burns - $25,000
- RBC Wealth Management - $50,000
- WW Smith - $25,000
- Mercator Financial - $25,000
- Larry Jensen, Mercator Financial - $10,000

When added with Innovation Credit Union’s donation of $165,000, the total combined contribution to the A Welcome Home Campaign is $330,000!

“Innovation Credit Union has been a supporter of many of our campaigns over the years, and certainly have always done their part. We appreciate their willingness to help their community and in this case take a leading role in challenging others.” – Clay Thompson, Executive Director, Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation.

Innovation Credit Union had contributed nearly $300,000 to previous campaigns including the construction of the Cypress Regional Hospital. Innovation Credit Union staff have also assisted the Foundation with volunteering their time for Foundation events.
