Nursing Students Grow Care at Clover House

Nursing Students, Jenny Soucy, Megan Sulz and Tiffany To, have completed a project they were working on for their studies and more importantly for the improved quality of life for residents of Clover House at The Meadows. Clover House is designated for shorter term rehabilitation stays, respite care, and palliative care, and did not previously have any gardening area for its clients to enjoy. As part of their project, these three ladies identified gardening as a way to increase recreational therapy to promote dignified care, and enable clients to get involved and be in control of their daily life situations, and encourage independence. When these students approached the Foundation and made their case for the value of this project, we whole heartedly agreed and joined them in working towards making this project a reality. Many thanks as well to all those who contributed!
